Improving Urban Biodiversity - Beijing Swift Conservation
- Beijing, China
Through research into the Beijing city elderly’s nostalgia for swifts in their ecologically rich childhoods, alongside modern swift conservation and children’s ecological education needs, I am designed smart swift boxes and smart streetlights. Easily installed on modern buildings, they connect via an app, strengthening human-swift bonds and raising urban biodiversity awareness. Supported by the China Birdwatching Association.

Creating Better Learning Experience

As a team from the Royal Danish Academy (KADK) and Copenhagen Business School (CBS), we partnered with the Copenhagen Centre for Education to redesign its space using user experience principles. Applying design thinking methods—co-creation workshops, social script studies, and prototyping—we developed user-centered solutions. Key outcomes: user satisfaction rose from 38% to 86%, space utilization increased by 23%, and annual orders grew by 59% (232→370).

Construction Plastic Waste Recycling Education

Based on the current situation in which plastic waste from the construction industry in Copenhagen is disposed of by landfill, this project develops educational comics suitable for popularization of education and guidance of social behavior, guiding more people to think about the coatings and improvement methods brought about by this treatment method, and enhancing the public’s awareness of environmental protection.
Recognized by Copenhagen Plastic Industry Co., adopted in 2024 environmental proposals.
